(research.) Bernard Zyscovich told me about his “Plan Z” idea for the Rickenbacker Causeway in Miami, so on my next trip, I made a point to tackle it. It’s a big lift over the bay; a high point and therefore, a magnet for cyclists looking for hilltops in an otherwise flat city. It’s also dangerous, but Plan Z would fix that by slowing traffic and converting it into a greenway and park – a tremendous asset for all of Miami.  >> Ryan Gravel
